Overview
TCGamer is a free, personal card collection tracker. Your privacy is important — this policy explains exactly what data is collected, where it goes, and what it is used for.
Data Stored Locally
Your card collection, binder names, trade preferences, and app settings are saved in your browser's
localStorage on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly sign in with Google to enable cloud backup.
Google Sign-In & Cloud Backup
If you choose to sign in with Google, TCGamer requests access to:
- Basic profile info (name, email, profile picture) — displayed in the app only.
- Google Drive App Data — a private, app-specific folder in your Google Drive that only TCGamer can read. Your collection is backed up here as a single JSON file. No other Drive files are accessed or modified.
Third-Party APIs
Card names, images, and prices are fetched from
Scryfall (Magic: The Gathering) and
pokemontcg.io (Pokémon TCG). These requests include the card names or IDs you search for. Please review their respective privacy policies for details.
Data Sharing
TCGamer does not sell, share, or transmit your personal data to any third party. No analytics, advertising, or tracking services are used.
Data Deletion
You can delete all locally stored data at any time using the
Wipe All Data button above. To remove your Google Drive backup, revoke TCGamer's access via your
Google Account permissions page, which will also delete the app data folder.
